We provide total installation, integration and maintenance services for all aspects of government CCTV systems including cameras, lenses, mounting brackets and housings, cabling, lighting, transmitters, multiplexors, digital recording equipment, video transmission, monitoring & control systems. 

Our maintenance team are experienced to carry out on-site repairs on CCTV equipment and are carry an extensive range of replacement parts to ensure faulty or damaged equipment is returned to service as quickly as possible.

Technet Systems appoint an agency liaison officer to provide first point of contact for each agency for any issues relating to installation, maintenance and repair of the agency's CCTV equipment. Regular meetings are scheduled throughout the term of the contract to ensure all contractual and service requirements are met or exceeded.

CCTV installation is usually conducted in conjunction with the agency's security consultant. Our installation and cabling team work in tandem to ensure clear and easy to maintain cabling, and solid and effective installation and commissioning of all CCTV cameras and equipment.

CCTV maintenance & repairs

Our CCTV maintenance & repair team are responsible for both emergency and routine maintenance. Our standard maintenance and repair process includes:

Client liaison
• Briefed by client contact on the history of CCTV system since last service.
 
Inspection
• Inspection of all accessible major CCTV components including cabling & connections for deterioration or damage.

Cameras
• Check cameras, housings, supporting brackets and towers for deterioration or damage.
• Check the camera field of view is correct & lenses correctly focused.
• Check all camera bracket fittings and clamping bolts are tight.
• Check operation of auto-iris lenses as appropriate.
• Check that washer bottles are full, refilling if necessary.
• Clean cameras, lenses and housings windows.
• Check and adjust operation of wiper unit.
• Check and adjust pan / tilt unit.
• Check operation of infrared units.
• Conduct any repairs as needed.

Monitors
• Check monitor and cable connections for deterioration or damage.
• Check controls and adjust for best picture.
• Conduct any repairs as needed.

Controls
• Check controls and cable connections for deterioration or damage.
• Check operation of switchers and multiplex controllers.
• Check and adjust time / date settings.
• Check operation of telemetry controllers.
• Conduct any repairs as needed.

Video / Digital Recorders
• Check hours run indicator and recommend for removal for service as appropriate.
• Check recorders for deterioration or damage.
• Check operation controls and make short test recording.
• Check and adjust time / date settings and time-lapse / memory settings.
• Check recording and playback quality.
• Ensure that recording settings are optimum for length of time and quality.
• Conduct any repairs as needed.

Client Liaison
• Complete maintenance report and discuss work conducted with client.
• Return the CCTV system to operational status.
